Junior executives who are currently in various youth and/ or social service agencies working with children and youth. This category of participants should have at least 3 months of relevant working experience in children and/ or youth work. The course is appropriate for programme coordinators, case workers, youth workers or programme executives.
Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:
• Explain the legal and ethical boundaries when working with youths
• Apply relevant Acts in working with youths
This course includes assessment components.
Assessment is conducted on Day 3 and learners will be informed at a later date about their assessment time slot.
As there is an assessment component for this course, grading and processing of results can only take place after course completion.
Learners who pass the assessment(s) will be awarded with an electronic Statement of Attainment (SOA) from WDA.
