Overview:

Whether your non-profit brand is still young and looking to grow or finding itself at a crossroads and in need of a new brand direction or just wanting to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of branding, this workshop will provide learners a firm knowledge on brand building.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
1. Explain the concept of branding
2. Describe the key differences between brand identity and brand image
3. Explain the concept of brand positioning in the context of non-profit sector
4. Describe the use of brand persona in creating differentiation for non-profit organisations

Target Participants:

Target audience includes all professionals who are responsible for brand development and marketing functions within a NPO or Social Service Agency, non-marketing/branding professionals within the NPO sector looking to acquire strong branding knowledge, and for those who need to update themselves and seek new ideas on brand building.

Trainer Profile:

Ms Catherine Chai, Principal Consultant – Broc Consulting Pte Ltd, is a strategic brand consultant, trainer, facilitator, speaker and educator. She brings with her over 20 years of extensive experience in brand strategy, brand management, marketing, training and facilitation skills across various industries. Catherine started her career in brand management roles working for companies such as Pernod Ricard (2nd largest wines and spirits company in the world) and Yeo Hiap Seng Ltd managing brands in the local, regional and international markets. She later
joined the consulting industry in year 2000. Over the years, Catherine has successfully helped more than 50 companies in the B2B and B2C sectors cutting across many industries to chart their brand growth.

Mode of delivery:
Please note that this course will be conducted online via Zoom (click to learn more about Zoom). Successful applicants will be able to access and download course materials from LearningCloud upon course confirmation. They will also be given the URL to join the Zoom course session with a unique password via email. Participants will be required to use their Name (as per NRIC) as the Zoom ID to be given access to the Zoom course session and will have to enable video view while the session is in progress.

Assessment will be scheduled after COVID-19 Circuit Breaker ends and face-to-face assessment at SSI resumes. Successful applicants are required to sit for the assessment on a separate day, to be further advised by SSI.

This course includes assessment components. Assessment may be conducted during and/or after the course. As there is an assessment component for this course, grading and processing of results can only take place after course completion. Learners who pass the assessment(s) will be awarded with an electronic Certificate of Achievement from SSI. You will receive an email notification when your e-Cert is ready for download in your NCSS e-Services account.
