About The Role

Role Summary
The Transformation team seeks to appoint a Community Lead to build and engage families (adults and children) in rental flats for a transformative journey. The community lead is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership in building the community.

The key responsibilities of the role are:
· To be a liaison between the community and the transformation programs translating need from the ground and vice versa.
· To design a narrative that shifts the mindset of families helping them overcome their individual barriers to change.
· To design outreach tactics to mobilise the community leveraging support from external partners, PA and volunteers.
· To build relationships with the community, actively listening to their needs, challenges and strengths.
· To translate community conversations into structured data points and insights that will guide strategic interventions for families
· To create a sense of ownership in the families towards achieving their goals and joint ownership in their partnership with SCC
· Develop partnerships that access resources and capabilities in the ecosystem


Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:

· Strong leadership skills, with a minimum of five years’ experience in a senior management position
· Extensive project management and stakeholder engagement experience
· A passion for spending time with communities and to be on the ground

Core Competencies:

· A demonstrated ability to build and sustain communities
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Creative problem solving and and strategic thinking
· Self-starter, entrepreneurial drive, and tenacity
