- Participate in team assessment - Conduct functional assessment - Participate in First Home Visit interviews, goal formulation, team, ITEP and ITER meetings (when necessary) - Conduct home and school visits (when necessary)- Conduct the School Placement Assessment - Administer a cognitive assessment (WPPSI-4) and interview caregivers using an adaptive behaviour scale (Vinelandâ„¢-II) - Carry out informal assessment through classroom observation - Formulate a report based on findings for students applying for admission into a SPED school- Formulate the School Transition Report and provide transitional support - Conduct standardized achievement test (KTEA-3) for students transitioning to a mainstream school - Provide transitional follow up with mainstream school (when necessary)- Conduct the Discharge Assessment - Administer the Brigance IED III for students considered for discharge - Participate in the transdisciplinary assessment process which comprises of a school and home visit, and team discussion- Participate in Intake Screening- Develop and apply interventions to promote psychological well being, social, emotional and behavioural development, and raise educational standards, by providing support in the areas of, but not limited to - Classroom Management - Behavioural Issues - Emotional Issues (e.g. anxiety, trauma, anger management) - Parental Mental Health Issues (affects student) - Parenting Issues
- Master of Psychology, with specialization in Clinical Psychology or Educational or Developmental Psychology from an accredited university- Registered or eligible for registration with a recognized psychological professional body
- Applicant with prior experience of working with children with special needs and their caregivers, and with clinical training in conducting assessments will be preferred- Singaporean only- Work Location: Jurong East or Wellington Circle
