About The Role
Primary Objective of the role
Ensure the smooth running of activities, programmes and events of the Senior Community Home. Responsibilities Plan activities, events, outings and programmes to the residents, members and clients. Work closely with volunteers management team in coordination of activites, volunteers events and activities for the residents, members and clients. Work closely with donors, volunteers in donations in kind, such as free meals, rations, provisions, logistics etc. Work with Community Chest in their referrals and programmes. Submit events, programmes reports to Director Assist in the smooth running of activities and programmes in AWWA Health and Senior Care Assist in liaison with corporate donors, volunteers, programme organizers etc. Assist in the proper record, inventory of provisions and donations in kind. Participate in any other projects as and when required by the Director Manage helpers, volunteers, donors in a professional manner. Supervise Healthcare Attendant. Assist in briefing visitors touring the home or centres, when necessary Assist to connect volunteers to run certain programmes when required.
Possess a Diploma or Degree in any discipline
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the social service sector preferred
Experience in handling donors, volunteers and organizing activities for the seniors
Preferred achievements / characteristics
Those with no experience in the sector are welcomed to apply
Must have a passion to serve the elderly Possess initiative and be proactive Have a cheerful personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
