Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical
1.1 Assess and identify individual psycho-social needs of clients, formulate and develop and implement appropriate individualised psychological intervention programmes
1.2 Work with clients on a one-to-one basis, group, or special setting based on their levels of function and severity of psychological issues.
1.3 Participate in the intake assessment session with other professionals when required to assess the suitability of candidates for treatment (including Psychological Testing and Assessment).
1.4 Evaluate and document psychological needs and progress of clients
1.5 Refer clients to the relevant specialists for consultation and appropriate intervention.
1.6 Provide psychological consultation, support, and update on the progress and status of clients to caregivers and all those involved in the care team.
1.7 Be involved in case conference discussions of client related issues with caregivers and members of the care team.
1.8 Train and teach staff in the techniques of managing challenging behavior and other relevant topics, as and when required.

2. Professional and Staff Development
2.1 Keep abreast of development in areas pertaining to Psychology, in order to initiate and implement new programmes, in liaison with the other relevant personnel
2.2 Conduct in-house or external training programmes for relevant staff, caregivers, and volunteers in the organization and community
