About The Role

Role Summary
The Transformation team is looking to identify solutions that can help children become lifelong learners and navigate the Singapore education system with greater motivation. You will be working closely with an external education work group to outline a strategy that will decide on a few intervention areas to support families in low-income households. We want to track a child’s progress from early years to higher ed, identifying indicators that can show promise towards intergenerational social mobility.

Responsibilities:
• To create a strategy for education that is catered to families with children in low-income communities
• To lead a team within the FSC to implement the program in the community
• To identify an outcomes framework for this program with key indicators to track results. This can include academics, social emotional competencies and environmental indicators.
• To outline a communication plan with families and set expectations
• To identify new partnerships with resources that can help children meet their learning needs
• To identify a plan to engage parents and mentors to support a child’s learning journey


Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial candidate with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with 5-8 years of experience in the Singapore education system.

Core Competencies:

This role will be a one-year contract offer and can extend to full employment on mutual agreement.
