About The Role

About The Role:
To deliver an innovative, high quality and family centered early childhood program for infants and toddlers that reflects current theory, practice and the values and philosophies that ensure positive outcomes for all children.

About You:
- You are committed to capacity building within the family environment as well as within the community, and understand the positive impact that community inclusion and participation has on people's lives.
- Understanding of current early childhood practice that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework, and naturalistic, responsive early childhood intervention practices.
- Understanding of the development of children, their health, hygiene and nutritional needs.
- Commitment and skill in providing quality and appropriate experiences and inviting learning environments for children.
- Understanding of current pedagogical thinking and research.

Reports to Head (Children's Education Services) and Assistant Director (Services).

Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:

- Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood/Pre-School Teaching/Early Years/Special Education, with relevant teaching experience
- Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) preferred

Core Competencies:

- Minimum 4 years experience in Early Intervention.
