Through our Community & Youth Services (CYS) Division and management of the Singapore Boys’ Hostel (SBHL), Trybe provides youth with guidance and offer support for their families and communities, creating a complete ecosystem of care from community-based interventions to individual aftercare services.

About The Role

As the Strategy Officer (Research & Evaluation), the candidate will be expected to research and evaluate effective strategies for the growth of the company. List of responsibilities, but not limited to:
• Recommend, plan and develop strategies and framework for the company;
• Identify best practice and utilize skills in project management to support the implementation of changes across the Divisions;
• Innovate and recommend new implementation which increase alignment and effectiveness across the Divisions;
• Makes recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats and viability of outside business partners;
• Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership;
• Design ways of collecting survey and data;
• Quality checking and cleansing data;
• Develop robust, timely methods to ensure data delivery is fit for its purpose;
• Support database performance by monitoring database performance; evaluating and resolving processing and programming problems; designing database management tools; answering user questions;
• Select appropriate research methodology, technique and design qualitative & quantitative evaluation for company’s services;
• Update senior leadership on evaluation findings and make actionable recommendations;
• Assist the company in achieving awards and recognition such as Charity Transparency Awards (CTA) and Charity Governance Awards (CGA).

Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:

• Interpret data for strategic planning and business development, evaluation and forecasting;
• Interpret data and make comparison with industry standards;
• Build strong network with external agencies, create opportunities for collaboration and learning;

Core Competencies:

• Strong analysis and attention to details.
• Strong communicator with outstanding presentation, written and verbal skills.
• Strong networker and able to represent the Company.
• Independent worker but able to work well in a team.

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

• Degree in Info Science, Social Science or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience in Data Analyst, Project Evaluation or equivalent.
