You will be required to:- Provide accurate information and timely referral services to clients that are served by the Family Service Centre (FSC).- Develop care plans for clients as part of case management role in meeting their needs and working towards them achieving self-reliance.- Develop, plan, implement and evaluate programs to meet client needs.- Provide Supervisees with mentorship and support in their core work.- Support the agency in implementing community and group work.- Assist in administrative functions in line with Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and SINDA FSC requirements.
- Able to demonstrate empathy
- Organisation skills- Critical thinking- Good written and communication skills- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines- Supervisory experience and training.
- Prior experience working with low-income families in one of the following: - Mental health - FV – Trained in Mandatory Counseling Programme (MCP) - Marital work - Working with families and young children- Able to speak Tamil or any of the Indian dialects, would be an advantage.
