About The Role
Duties and Responsibilities: • Carries out the Mission, Vision, Values and initiatives established by the school • Improves and upkeeps the repute of the school by conducting oneself in a professional manner at all times in speech, action, appearance and demeanor • Provide support to the teacher to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment • Assist the teacher in the preparation for daily activities by: a. preparing lesson deliverables including worksheets, drawings and handouts, b. preparing, developing, making various resources and teaching aids, c. setting up the classroom and other appropriate facilities, d. maintaining the cleanliness of the class. • Present subject matter to children, under the guidance of a teacher, utilizing a variety of methods including stories, activities, and role playing • Assist children, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts both in and outside the school • Be familiar with weekly lesson plans, each student Individualized Educational Programme and health or medical conditions • Participate in all co-curricular and external school activities as required • Attend meetings and training sessions as needed and assigned • Maintains confidentiality of records and information of students and families • Contribute to assigned committee-work in an active, constructive and innovative manner
