Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is a charity and social service agency which advocates for the early detection of breast cancer and supports the breast cancer community in Singapore. Established since 1997, BCF actively raises awareness on breast cancer through talks, events and publications that advocate for early detection through regular screening. BCF also supports those affected by breast cancer through various programmes, support groups and befriending activities. These help to provide ongoing care, assistance and psychosocial support.

About The Role

Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is looking for an experienced Fundraising and Partnerships professional who is able to fundraise and build strategic relationships for the organisation. This role will lead the Fundraising and Partnerships Department and focus on donor and partnership development.

This role requires you to be able to develop fundraising and partnership strategies and frameworks for BCF as well as actively seek donors and partners to meet BCF’s yearly fundraising and partnership targets. You will take the lead in actively organising fundraising events (both physical and virtual) and running fundraising campaigns (both online and offline). You will provide regular reporting and analysis of BCF's fundraising projects and outcomes, as well as send out regular communications and impact reports to our donors and partners.

As a Head of department, you will form part of the BCF management team and will be in charge of leading the Fundraising & Partnerships department, developing each staff in the areas of donor development and partnership management.

You will also review and transform our donation systems, processes and workflows, so as to achieve greater operational efficiency, consistency and optimisation.

Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:

Proven ability and experience in fundraising and partnerships
Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving and planning skills

Core Competencies:

Good interpersonal and people management skills to work with people from diverse backgrounds (i.e. volunteers and colleagues)
Good collaborative and stakeholder management skills to work across disciplines and sectors (i.e. donors, community stakeholders, corporate partners, government agencies)

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

At least 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
Experience in budgeting and project management
Ability to lead and manage a team very well
