In a vibrant, safe and supportive environment, our trained dementia care staff strives to maintain cognitive wellness and slow down cognitive decline of our clients through multi- sensory stimulating activities, with the aim of retaining their functional abilities and social engagement within the community.Job Description:• Establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with clients, caregivers, volunteers and the community• Assisting and facilitating cognitive activities for the dementia participants• Handling and managing the participants with the duty of care, exhibit the spirit of team player to ensure that cohesive work relationships for the best interest for our participants• Ensure the safety and quality aspects of care delivery• Assisting in sourcing and creation of cognitive activities to improve and refresh resources or activities used• Perform general operations and administration necessary for the daily operation at the centre• Assisting in volunteer management and conduct orientation program• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor
• Relevant experience in geriatric services and program execution for dementia clients• Relevant education in mental health, social work or related field study in gerontology• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
A team player who is able to work cohesively with the department and an individual who have a passion and desire to work with the dementia clients
