About The Role

Residential Care Worker will be working with male juvenile offenders, between the age of 14 to 20, in an institutional facility, which focuses on community rehabilitation. They are required to work in shifts.

List of responsibilities, but not limited to:
• Oversee the residents on a daily basis; manage the welfare, discipline, and standards of regimentation in the Rehab institution;
• Plan and coordinate the daily routine or programmes for the residents;
• Able to build a strong relationship (as fatherly or brotherly figures) with these residents and be role models for the residents;
• Ensure the safety and security of premises

Unit Head of the Operations & Care Department

Candidate Requirements

Technical Competencies:

• Ability to interact positively to male juvenile offenders individually and in group setting;
• Ability to enforce discipline standards in a fair and respectful manner;
• Ability to plan and coordinate daily routine/programmes
• Knowledge and ability to comply with safety, emergency requirement
