The Educational Manager (EM) primary role is to ensure that residents are given the necessary academic support so they could improve their school performance. The EM identifies possible learning difficulties and makes the referral for more accurate assessment and coordinates appropriate interventions. Incumbent follows the intervention plan recommended and develops Individual Education Plan. EM works with individual residents, advising teachers, parents, social workers and other professionals.Work can also involve research and advising on educational provisions and policies.Investigates learning and teaching, and develops resources to foster the development and skills of individuals and groups in educational settings.
