About The Role

Marketing and Corporate Communications
• Develop and execute communication strategies for public outreach, marketing, fundraising, corporate and volunteer engagement.
• Curate and create marketing content, including but not limited to visual design and copywriting, for Filos’ communication materials and social media platforms
• Update and maintain content on Filos’ corporate website and social media platforms
• Coordinate Filos’ media engagement with external stakeholders

Community Relations and Engagement
• Engage both internal and external stakeholders including schools, corporate, grassroots and public organisations for outreach and volunteering opportunities
• Update and maintain stakeholders’ database

Volunteer Management
• Assist in volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts, including developing and organising outreach events and initiatives to promote volunteerism
• Curate and organise training curriculum and framework for existing volunteers
• Support secretariat work and prepare reports for senior management, internal and external stakeholders
• Perform administrative duties such as maintaining the volunteer database system, data entry and any other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:

- Proficient in the English Language and writes well
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well with a diverse group of stakeholders, including professionals from the public and private sectors, volunteers and beneficiaries.

Core Competencies:

- Passionate about social service, volunteerism and serving the community
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player
- Self-motivated, pleasant and resourceful personality

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

- A diploma or degree in marketing, communications or social sciences is preferred.
- Good design skills and proficiency in Canva would be an advantage
- Relevant work experience in marketing and communications would be an advantage.
