1. To be positive role models to all residents2. To provide care and supervision to the resident3. To be a good listener to the residents and if needed, offer positive advice4. To aid in basic development and change process of the residents5. To ensure the safety of the residents at all times6. To ensure that the residents are punctual and on time for activities and programmes7. To treat every resident with dignity, respect and equality8. As a team member, you are to be available at all times (whether on or off duty) to assist colleagues in need9. To report to the designated Supervisor or Head of Operations10. To abide by the Code of Conduct11. To accompany the residents for activities when required12. Be vigilant to the mood of resident(s) and behavioural changes13. To ensure every resident adheres to rules and regulations14. To undertake any other duties specified by Head of Home and senior management.
Minimum qualification - DiplomaGood spoken and written EnglishImmediate availability is advantageous
Willing to learn and is a good team playerAble to multi-task and possess initiative to respond to various situationsAble to perform shift work (overtime allowance) including weekends and public holidays
Basic counselling or social work qualification or experience is an advantagePatient, calm and a good listenerExperience in Residential and Rehabilitation care preferred
