Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home is currently looking for a Chaplain who will be heading a team of pastoral and family care teams. His or her main purpose is to serve as a source of spiritual and emotional support for staff members, our residents and their immediate family. The incumbent should possess a degree in theology or certification in pastoral care. Communication in the English and Chinese languages would be desirable. He or She may be ordained or non-ordained, and of any denomination. His or her main role is to provide Spiritual guidance, prayer and family care follow-up. Theological training (degree level and above) from a seminary recognized by the Methodist Church in Singapore.
• Has a passion to impart Christian values to children and youths in developing their spiritual growth• Enjoys working in a child-centred environment• Strong moral standing and upholding doctrines of the Methodist Church in Singapore
• At least 3 years’ experience in full-time pastoral ministry work with children, youths and families.• Ability to share the Word of God in chapel services.
