The potential incumbent shall be responsible to conduct casework, group work as well as implementing and evaluating community development activities and programmes to address needs of our students, their caregivers and other stakeholders. The incumbent works in school settings and should be committed, service oriented and a team player. Main responsibilities include but not limited to the following:• Perform casework, delivery intervention and care plan• Facilitate group work• Engage and work with the community agencies• Conduct family interview and financial assessment• Manage crisis and ensure client safe organisation• Conduct training to staff and stakeholders • Participate in professional courses to acquire specialised knowledge and skills• Perform administrative duties
- Possess experience working with persons with mild intellectual disabilities (MID).- Patient, team player and able to co-create new content tailored for students and trainees with MID.
- Able to communicate with students, trainees, caregivers and associates of different culture, backgrounds, preferably conversant in major local dialects- Possess minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.- Passionate, well organised, able to independently.
- Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work or equivalent from recognised universities.- Must be registered with Singapore Association of Social Worker (SASW) Accreditation Board.
