PurposeThe incumbent will be responsible for the case management of residential boys.ResponsibilitiesCarry out admission procedures including handling intake interviews and assessment reports.Provide counselling services and group work sessions for the residents or with parent groups.Develop Individual Care Plans for all residents admitted.Initiate and plan case reviews and ensure that periodic assessments of our residents are made.Keep proper case records and documentation of residents personal information and reports. Ensure the licensing audit requirements are met in the case management domain.Plan and implement career guidance and counselling programmes for the residents.Liaise with Education Officers and schools to keep them informed of admission, discharge and absence of the residents and with their education care planAssist to monitor the progress of the boys, through the sharing of case-related issues and intervention plans. Liaise with external agencies and represent the residents professionally. Work in collaboration with the Programmes and Operations department in organizing camps for the residents.Support and or conduct research when called upon for their respective functions.

Bachelors or Masters in Social Work or a recognized Social Work qualificationAt least 2 years relevant experience in non profit or the social service sectorExperience in working with children and their familiesTo be flexible in your working hours when required
