Befriending Executive Reporting to their respective programme manager, the Befriending Executive will work towards the service requirements stipulated by the funders and LBSA for Befriending services and AACs. The Executive will work on other activities including mental health pilots and projects which can contribute to the overall 5 dimensions of well-being of seniors Key Responsibilities •Serving SeniorsEnsure all seniors are contacted based on service requirements.Submit check call reports of seniors engagement and address needs of seniorsSupport projects that value-add LB services to seniors•Volunteer Management Engage volunteersMatching of befrienders to programmes•Recruitment of Members Assess and recruit new seniorTier new member •Administration and ReportsPrompt submission of check call reports, seniors activities attendance etc.Conduct CST assessmentsPeriodic housekeeping of seniors case status•Programme and ActivitiesDeliver projects outputs and activities to seniors at home or off-siteEvaluate processes and provide suggestions to improve activities implementation•Community OutreachAssist in community assets mappingAssist in outreach events•Relationship ManagementSupport community and networking partners to serve the seniorsCommunicate the needs of seniors to external stakeholders and advocate for action to meet these needs•Any other responsibilities as assigned by the reporting after
Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences preferredPreferably with more than 2 years of eldercare experience in direct operational roles or running social service-related programmesExperienced in working with community partners and volunteers
Enjoy working with seniors and volunteersGood problem-solving skillsGood interpersonal skills, a team player, yet able to work independentlyGood communications skills, preferably bilingual with dialects
Good administrative skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeDynamic, quick thinking, adaptable and responsive to change
