About The Role

Oasis Day Centre (ODC) is a psychiatric rehabilitation programme for people in recovery of mental illness or dual diagnosis (i.e., mild developmental disorders and mental illness). The main objective is to optimise clients’ level of function in the community, so as to cultivate independence, enhance interpersonal skills, and improve job readiness.

You will assist in administrative work and operation to ensure that the centre is at its pivotal point in serving our residents. Activity assistant is a fundamental job as you have to assist in conducting social activities and workshops that would be essential in the recovery of our residents. Assisting the reporting officer will ensure that he will be able to put his whole heart into helping others and proving the best care he can. Core Duties
A. Service Delivery
• Contract Work Area
• Activities Planning, Execution, and Logistics

B. Administrative and Other duties
• Update record s
• Assist Centre Coordinator with updating daily activities
• Assist Centre Coordinator with dispensing allowance
• Work with direct care staff

C. Outreach Involvement
• Attend SAMH Outreach Events
• Conduct talks

D. Other Matters

Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:

• Possess GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ level or NITEC

Core Competencies:

• Passionate, energetic and enthusiastic

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

• Enjoy working with the elderly
• Prior work experience in the Social Services sector will have an advantage
