General• Understand, imbibe and promote the mission, vision and values of the organisationJob Description• Lead in the execution of programmes to support children, aged 4-9, in their English literacy development;• Work closely with stakeholders, such as parents, volunteers, centre heads to ensure the smooth running of programmes and that programme objectives are met. • Manage and lead in the growth of the programmeResponsibilities1. Lead a team to conduct organisation’s literacy programmes, including StoryLAB, GROW and iREAD;2. Generate materials for in-house literacy programmes;3. Liaise with parents for programme registration and scheduling;4. Liaise and train volunteers to conduct our C3 literacy programmes;5. Organize and carry out additional programmes and events as required (e.g. camps, parenting workshops, outings);6. Follow-up with volunteers and parents on the progress of students and to provide support where needed;7. Liaise and work closely with community partners and stakeholders to provide holistic support for the children and their families;Other Responsibilities• Assist in fundraising, administration and other responsibilities as required• Reporting and presentations• Proposal writing• Take on other additional responsibilities as required by management
