About The Role

- Conduct individual, family or group counselling sessions according to client’s needs
- Conduct support groups sessions
- Responsible for case management, including assessment of case, developing case intervention, monitor case progress and evaluation of case
- Facilitate programmes and activities which enhance clients’ overall well-being and improve their quality of life
- Work closely with other professionals (within and inter agency) managing the case to maintain continuum of care
- Preferably with at least 1 year of experience in the social service sector. However, fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
- Reports to the Head of Department
- Candidate may be assigned to work with adult cancer patients at the Serenity Cancer Care (Haig Road), or with caregivers and children cancer patients at the Young Heroes Cancer Care (Eunos)

Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:

Has knowledge of theories and techniques to assess a case holistically using relevant tools
Able to conceptualize and formulate case plan that is relevant, realistic and achievable
Has good skills in - MS Office, oratorical, writing

People-oriented with good communication skills
Interest in working with families

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

Preferably with relevant educational qualification in Counselling
Experienced with working with multi-stressed families
