About The Role

The objective for this role is to provide casework and counselling services to clients and to spearhead and run social programmes.

Job Responsibilities

1. Family Support

- Financial Support and Food Ration (preparing and ordering of NTUC Vouchers)
- Case review - every 6 months and ad-hoc case assessment
- Counselling for family members or individuals
- Liaising with agencies and organizations for clients family needs
- Birthday visits and ad-hoc family visits
- Visits and support for patients in hospitals and institutional homes
- Monthly reporting of cases to management
- Education - Monitoring SSEF students on MOE FAS
- Bereavement - Co-ordinate and assist in body washing

2. Children Homes and Institutions

- Visiting and Engaging the residents of the home
- Ensuring that the residents psycho, social, educational needs are met
- Liaising with the homes to fill in gaps in services. (e.g. cultural and language issues)

3. Empowering Parents

- Parent Education
- Family Bonding Camps and Activities

4. Fund Raising and Outreach Activities

- Roadshows in conjunction with Welfare Days
- Co-ordinate Events
- Assist in administration when required
