The purpose and objective of this job is to provide care and daily needs to the disable. This position report to the Chief Nursing officer.Duties and Responsibilities of Nursing Aide: -1 Bathe residents and attend to their personal hygiene, brushing teeth, toilet etc.2 Make and tidy beds.3 Simple application of ointment/cream and simple dressing for residents.4 Help to serve breakfast and feed the residents at meal times.5 Sweep and mop the floor of residents’ rooms and dining hall after each meal.6 Wash bathrooms, toilets, sinks and corridors.7 Wash the sinks in the residents’ rooms.8 Help the residents to bed at rest time and bed time.9 Empties rubbish, bed spans and urinals.10 Accompanying residents to hospitals and polyclinics.11 Turning residents at night to change their sleeping positions.12 Change the residents who are incontinent.13 Help residents to the toilet.14 Clean windows and doors etc – as scheduled.15 Accompanying residents to outings and special functions.16 Close “Entrance” gate at 7.00 pm and lock it at 10.00 pm.17 Close and lock “Exit” gate at 6.00 pm unless instructed otherwise by Sister-on-Duty.18 Help in kitchen – i.e. wash all dishes, help to cut food into pieces etc and any other tasks assigned by the Housekeeper.19 Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer
Ability to operate and understand the use of household appliances.
Physically strong and able to work 3 rotating shift.
Experiences in nursing is a plus. Must be caring, patience, understanding and honest to the residents.
