You should possess a passion to work with children and youths (aged 7 to 21 years old) who had experienced physical, emotional, psychological or sexual abuse within their family. The role requires you to provide: (1) Case management - Set goals and follow up with intervention plans with residents and family. - Implement safety plan and behavioural management plan for residents. - Conduct assessment of resident needs with assessment tools. - Engage internal and external stakeholders and discuss plans with the family. - Timely review of cases in case review meetings(2) Residential management - To ensure adherence to Home rules and dormitory’s structure. - To ensure safety among the residents in the dormitory.- To implement rewards and discipline for the residents. (3) Para counselling - Ensure residents emotional and psychological needs are met. - Work on areas of concern and process incidences.
- Degree in Social Work or any related discipline- Fresh grad can be considered if you have a desire to work in residential care settings working with CYA and dysfunctional families. - Strong assessment and report writing skills.
