1. Handle day-to-day general queries from shelter residents2. Assist in the admission and orientation of new shelter residents3. Collect statistics for monitoring and evaluation of activities and programmes of the shelter4. Provide administrative and operational support in overall shelter operations5. Perform and assist in data entry for client and operational records6. Collect and maintain records of payments from clients for shelter fees and utilities7. Maintain records of distribution of rations and assistance to shelter residents, including inventory of in-kind donations8. Support the maintaining of security, health and safety of the shelter environment9. Access shelter units for maintenance checks, perform minor maintenance repairs or contact repair persons for necessary maintenance10. Enforce shelter rules and conduct shelter inspection for compliance with shelter rules11. Manage general disputes that may occur between co-living shelter residents12. Respond to incidents within shelter units, such as de-escalating crisis situations and notify Operations Head and Centre Manager for next action step
- Polytechnic or University graduate- Conversant with IT systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Have compassion for the homeless and needy- Able to handle shelter residents politely yet firm- Resilient and mature- Possess good communication and writing skills
