St. Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC) is a non-profit organisation for the education, training, and care of persons with autism and their families.

SAAC comprises St. Andrew’s Autism School (SAAS) and St. Andrew’s Adult Autism Services (SAAAS), serving children, youths and adults with autism. SAAAS runs two Day Activity Centres (DACs) at Siglap and Sengkang, and St. Andrew’s Adult Home (Sengkang), Singapore’s first residential facility designed and built to meet the needs of adults of autism.

SAAC seeks to enable people with autism to lead dignified and meaningful lives.

We invite interested and qualified persons to join us to meet the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of our students, clients and residents; to provide behavioural support, life skills training, family support and public education.

About The Role

Support the Head of Partnerships and Volunteer Management to implement effective strategies and channels to recruit, engage, retain and manage volunteers for the organisation and its services, through the following:
- Work closely with various departments to manage volunteer programmes and activities.
- Organise and implement special or ad hoc projects involving group, corporate and individual volunteers.
- Evaluate and review volunteer programmes, activities, participation and engagement.
- Develop resources or supporting collaterals for the area of work.
- Manage volunteer database and monitor associated budgets and expenditure.
- Manage relations and maintain good rapport with stakeholders for sustained interest and support of SAAC’s volunteer opportunities and programmes.




Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:

- Resourceful, self-motivated with problem solving and analytical skills
- Good organisational skills and result-oriented
- Familiar with data management systems and social media tools

Core Competencies:

- Team player who is able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- A passion to serve in special needs sector, and being resilient with a start-up mentality

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

-Tertiary qualification
- 3 years of working experience, preferably in social service organisation and with volunteer management portfolio
- Effective communications skills (both verbal and written), strong interpersonal and good presentation skills
