Peace Connect Cluster Operator
Peace-Connect Cluster Operator (PeCCO) is a voluntary welfare organisation appointed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to operate a cluster of programmes for the senior citizens living in the Kampong Glam.
PeCCO provides social support to seniors with little or no family support and assist them to age-in-place within the community through case management, counselling and monitoring their well-being through home visitations.
About The Role
Duties and responsibilities
1. To update the accounting entries in ACCPAC Accounting system 2. To prepare the Financial Statements that give true and fair view in accordance with the provisions of the Charities Act, the Societies Act and Singapore Financial Reporting standards. 3. To oversee all financial matters to ensure proper utilization of funds, accountability and internal control 4. To prepare forecast and yearly capital and operating expenditure budgets as per SACS guidelines and to help to ensure spending with the approved budgets 5. To prepare and liaise with internal and external auditors for statutory and statistical audits 6. To advise Operation on financial matters and to ensure compliance to SACS Finance policy 7. To participate in CARF (quality audit) for Finance department 8. To carry out Asset management and ensure fixed assets are registered, tagged and disposed with inventory condemnation form. 9. To process payment duly supported by matching invoices and approval for purchase or service 10. To ensure Accounts receivables and ensure receipts are issued for collection of cash or cheques 11. To monitor and reconcile Government Subvention 12. To reconcile monthly Bank statement 13. To ensure proper accountability and tracking of pre-operational governmental funding 14. To help in Finance coverage for other Centre Finance where needed 15. To perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
• Possess strong organisation skills, able to multi-task, team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Either a Diploma, ACCA or Degree in Accountancy or recognised accounting qualification.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
