In keeping with Sree Narayana Guru’s teachings, SNM provides a wide range of social service programmes for the less-privileged regardless of race or religion.
An Institution of Public Character since 1984, SNM is also a proud recipient of the Charity Transparency Awards in 2018 and 2019, awarded by the Charity Council to recognise charities with good disclosure practices that the Charity Transparency Framework (CTF) recommends.

SNM operates a 224-bed nursing home, Sree Narayana Mission Nursing Home and two Senior Care Centres for the elderly. One Senior Care Centre is co-located with the Nursing Home in Yishun and offers a Maintenance Day Care Programme.

The other Senior Care Centre is located at Woodlands and offers both Maintenance Day Care and Dementia Day Care Programmes.

SNM also runs the SNM Care Centre which runs a slew of community programmes to cater to the needs of the less-privileged including programmes for single mothers, educational financial assistance and befriender services.

In addition, SNM manages Meranti Home@Pelangi Village, a 200-bed psychiatric welfare home for male destitutes.

About The Role

- Conduct case work and counselling support for residents under your care
- Conceive intervention plan and execution which can effect positive change in residents
- Work closely with MSF and other agencies on the overall rehabilitation of residents
- Prepare in-depth care plan and other mandatory monthly reports as required by MSF and other agencies
- Plans, executes, and evaluates programmes and services with the aim to improve the quality of life of residents
- Attend case conferences, presents cases for discussion on formal platforms such as departmental or inter-agencies meetings for the purpose of sharing and learning problem solving skills
relating to social work
- Attends multi-disciplinary team meetings with medical staff, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals to discuss, propose and coordinate care plans for residents
- Development and enhancement of work process and administrative matters
- Any other duties assigned by Reporting Officer

- Must possess degree in Social Work or graduate diploma in Social Work
- Must possess compassion, resourcefulness and be willing to work diligently to help in the rehabilitation of male destitute persons
- Must be registered with SASW Accreditation Board with at least 2 years of experience
- Good report writing and interpersonal skills
- A good team player
