You will be part of the FAM@FSC team to provide family and marital counselling services to individuals and families, as well as other divorce-related services to enhance their resilience, psychological functioning and family relationships- To work directly with individuals, couples and children to provide counselling services - Being open and comfortable working with high-conflict couples and families- To conduct psycho-educational and therapeutic groupwork programmes for parents and children- To maintain proper case documentation and programme statistics and adhere to professional practice standards- To carry out any other duties as assigned by HOD and supervisor
- A minimum qualification of a Master’s Degree in Counselling recognized by Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC)- Registered SAC member or in the process of becoming a registered member- At least 2 years of counselling experience working with individuals, couples, children or youth
- Comfortable to work with highly conflictual divorce and couple cases- Able to engage and attend to court-mandated clients- Able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team and with relevant stakeholders- Able to work from Tuesdays to Saturdays, and ad-hoc weekday evenings
- Fluent in another language such as Mandarin, Malay or Tamil will be useful- Knowledgeable in using Microsoft and other IT applications
